If there's one thing a zombie infection loves, it's spreading. So it's not especially surprising that Capcom has word today of two installments in its Resident Evil zombie action series spreading to new platforms.
First up, the publisher announced that PC users will have to wait until September 18 to get their hands on the Xbox 360 and PS3 hit Resident Evil 5, which adds new costumes, a revamped "Mercenaries" mode with more enemies, and support for Nvidia's GeForce stereoscopic 3D Vision glasses.
For the zombie-loathing gamer on the go, Capcom is also working on an iPhone version of GameSpot's 2005 Game of the Year, Resident Evil 4. As posted on the company's official Twitter account, Resident Evil 4 will be available for iPhones in Japan at the end of the month, with worldwide releases to follow. |
