by Tony Jenkins on 25/02/2010Let's face it us brits never win much at the Winter Olympics so here's your chance to rewrite the record books. The events mainly consist of sking/snowboarding and throwing yourself down the ice on a variety of tea tray type things. There's a couple of more technical events too in the form of ski jumping and ariels (although I'm still struggling with that one).
Overall an enjoyable sports game without button bashing for once (apart from the 500m speed skating). There's 30 'challenges' which extend the life of the game - collecting tokens as you ski down the mountain, avoiding snowmen while speed skating, ski jumping to within a metre of a random specified length etc. I've done 18 of the easier ones now and have discovering an ability to swear at snowmen!
The online play is fun too where you can take on 3 players in any of the events although the ski cross is always my favourite.
