Whether you're looking for a gift for a loved one, or treating yourself to your own slice of gaming goodness this festive season, we know that holiday shopping can be stressful! That's why at The Game Collection, we've produced a handy little Christmas FAQ to help you shop with piece of mind!

Here's everything you need to know about shopping at TGC over the holiday season this year:

When is the latest I can order for Christmas Delivery?

Yes, we know what it's like, you need to grab a gaming gift last minute for someone special. We've got you covered!

Order by 11.30am on Saturday 20th December and we'll pop your item in the post so Royal Mail can deliver it on time.

Where is my order - I'm starting to panic?

Deep breaths! As soon as orders are despatched we'll provide a tracking number so you're able to track your parcel. We use Royal Mail, Parcelforce and DPD services which can all be tracked on their website or via the Shop App if you wish to install that on your mobile phone (not essential but we highly recommend it).

If there's an issue with your tracking number just contact us via live chat or email and we'll be happy to assist. We'll always do our very best to get your item to you in time. Please be nice; it's Christmas - a time for love and peace, not stress!

How long do I have to return a Christmas gift I bought?

Just in case your carefully selected gift is unwanted or someone else had the great idea of buying the same fantastic game don't worry. We have extended our Returns Policy so if your order was placed any time on 17th November 2025 right up until 24th December 2025 we will accept your return if you notify us before 31st January 2026!

Unwanted returns MUST be unopened and unused - no ripping off the cellophane!

You can arrange to return it to us in line with our standard returns procedure for a refund.

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations games must be in their original packaging and still be sealed. Consoles may be opened for the purpose of inspection (but not used). Please note that hardware must contain every component part (cables, controllers etc.) before it can be accepted as a return.
