Components: Other

PC components that sit outside the usual processor and graphics card categories are gathered here: power supplies, PC cases, desktop memory, case fans, CPU air coolers and networking hardware. You can use them to finish a new build, replace a part that has failed or add better cooling and connectivity to a PC you already own.

Match each part to what is already in your machine. A power supply has to suit your case and your system, memory has to be the right type for your motherboard, and a CPU cooler has to fit your socket and case height. Product titles list sizes, speeds and standards, so check them before you order. If you are planning a bigger upgrade, browse processors too, and see the wider accessories range for the rest of your setup.

Cases, cooling and power

The PC cases here include ATX mid-tower and larger designs, some with a clear tempered glass panel, so check case size against your motherboard and cooler before buying. Case fans come in 120mm and 140mm sizes with PWM control and ARGB lighting, which lets your motherboard adjust fan speed to keep noise down. A CPU air cooler is a straightforward way to replace a stock one, and a 500W Bronze-rated power supply suits a modest build. Desktop memory includes 32GB DDR4 3200MT/s, which is useful if you multitask or edit video.

Networking hardware

Wi-Fi 6 routers, ceiling mount access points, a range extender and a wireless and Bluetooth PCIe adapter cover home and small office networks. A PCIe adapter adds wireless to a desktop that has none, while access points spread coverage across a larger building. There are also specialist items such as a SonicWall rackmount kit and an APC network management card, which suit particular equipment, so confirm the model matches yours before you order.

Check the plug type on routers

Some routers are listed with an EU plug, as the product title shows, so read the title before ordering. For more hardware, see TGC Tech. If you are building around gaming, you can also look at PC games, monitors, keyboards and gaming mice. Free UK delivery and Reward Points on every order.
