Developed by Fuse Games, this arcade racing adventure takes inspiration from the iconic podracing sequences of Star Wars while introducing plenty of new ideas of its own. The team behind the game also brings some serious racing pedigree, with Fuse Games' founders having previously worked at Criterion Games, the studio behind the much-loved Burnout series.
With that experience behind it, Galactic Racer combines a run-based campaign with customisation, strategic choices and intense races, offering more than simply a race to the finish line.

The Gamescom demo generated 138 articles with a projected reach of 212.8 million, with coverage praising its gameplay, customisation and fresh take on arcade racing.
Several previews highlighted the combination of classic Star Wars podracing influences with modern arcade racing mechanics, while others praised its audiovisual presentation and distinctive approach to the genre.
One IGN preview described STAR WARS: Galactic Racer as “much more than a hyper-fast arcade racer”, while other coverage called the game a promising take on the Star Wars underworld and left players wanting to see more.
