Go beyond the boutique
Using your sartorial savvy knowledge you can become the go-to boutique in the city as you apply your styling skills to pick out the perfect look for your customers. With 19,000 items to chose from, such as casual dresses, eye-catching t-shirts and those all important finishing touches, making the right recommendation will ensure they spread the word!
Taking the game beyond the boutique, four exciting new professions await, allowing you to continue your fashionable career, with the freedom to switch between them whenever you desire.
Hair stylist and make-up artist
Style clients beyond clothes with a huge range of make-up looks to apply at the beautician's and countless creative hairstyles to 'top off' the look at the hair salon.
Creative style enthusiasts can build their very own fashion house by designing a unique clothing and accessories line to suit their personal style. Fashion labels are always on the lookout for up-and-coming designers, and often commission new items to complement their collection - a great opportunity to bring the boutique to the front row of fashion!
Show off your sartorial savvy as a model for in-game brands, each with its own vision and needs. It's all about pairing the right outfit with flawless hair and make-up, then pulling it all together with the perfect pose. You may even see images from photo shoots appearing on billboards and advertisements around the city, increasing the awareness of you and your boutique!
Away from the hustle and bustle of the fashion world, a retreat awaits your enjoyment. Caprice Chalet is the perfect place for anyone with a taste for interior design. Here you can transform the rooms of this dollhouse into different spaces, such as a relaxing bedroom or trendy boutique. You can then share them online or with other fashionistas met via StreetPass.
In addition to the thousands of in-game items with which to style your customers, their are special pieces that can be unlocked by tapping compatible amiibo during gameplay. Items include Peach's Princess Crown, Mario's M-Hat, Yoshi's Egg Hooded jacket and more. Further items will also be available to download after the game's launch, while regular online themed fashion contests will challenge you to show off your very best styling skills. You can even invite other players to join you in a couture competition, comparing ensembles and finding future style inspiration for your boutique.
